Portland, ME –To better position Maine as a key US wind power supply-chain resource; the Maine Wind Industry Initiative (MWII) will announce the launch of a new online wind energy-ME supply-chain product and business locator on June 5th at the WINDPOWER 2012 Exhibition in Atlanta.
“Consolidating supply chain data within one resource will have a beneficial impact on Maine’s economic development through better utilization of local resources”, explains MWII Director and Industry Coordinator Paul Williamson.
The soon-to-be-live online wind energy-ME supply-chain product and business locator will help equipment manufacturers, wind project developers, and professional service providers identify potential business partners and supply chain suppliers through name and specification search tools. This convenient online locator will expedite the Maine wind energy supply chain search process to increase sales contacts, uncover new supply opportunities, and demonstrate Maine’s expanding wind energy supply chain capabilities.
Demonstrations of the new online wind energy-ME supply-chain product and business locator will take place at the Maine Wind Industry Pavilion – WINDPOWER booth 1321 – at the Georgia World Congress Center, on June 3-6.
The Maine Technology Institute provided funding to develop this necessary online wind energy-ME supply-chain product and business locator and the following trade association partners assisted in data gathering: AGC, MAMe, MCA, E2Tech, and MMTA.
